I just wrote a little Tutorial, and I hope you get my point. I’m sorry if you don’t, but you know English is my second language.
So let´s start.
This tutorial is about this banner.
You need the following resources
Unfortunately, most of my resources do not know where I got them from
I start my graphic with a new file (File -> New) in size 700x110px. As background I have the color #ffffff.
Now I put directly Textur1 on my graphic I push the texture so that at the left edge a piece of the background is to be seen.
Then I make a small rectangle with the rectangle tool in the color # 111915 and push it to the right edge. There I leave a small piece over so that on the right edge still the texture can be seen.
The texture is quite pretty, but I do not like it in purple but rather in a blue tone. Therefore, I put a new color layer above it ( Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation) with the setting
I then put PNG1 on my artwork. It’s not quite complete, I got it for some tutorial but I do not know exactly where from. So it’s like this
I set the blendingmod to screen
Then my first person comes behind my PNG1.
I make the lady black and white and light her up
Now follows texture2 with the blendingmod overlay with an opacity of 80%
texture3 I set withthe blendingmod multiply
Now comes my second person.
Now I put a new Fill Layer (Layer -> New Fill Layer > Solid Color) with the color # f8d250 over it and give the Fill Layer a Clipping Mask (Right click on the layer and select Create Clipping Mask )
Then I put the same person over it again and move it a touch to the right. So that my person gets a little orange edge
Texture4 I set the blendingmod to screen and give the texture a layer mask and take it away over my little wife and sometimes quite easily in other places as well.
I now take texture5 and put it behind my little wife and set the blendingmod to screen.
Person No. 3 follows and I make it black and white.
With the rectangle tool I create only 3 small squares. The color does not matter, because I put a picture on it but I give the squares a contour. Twice the color #4e7474 and twice the color #ffffff
Then I grab with the help of a clipping mask images on the squares.
I put an empty layer on my graphic (Layer -> New) with the blendingmod Multiply
Then I take a brush such as this here and take the color #4a6eb8 and make some splashes my graphic.
For the text I use Bebas Neue for the subtext and Leisha for the main text. I take the colors out of the graphics.
For the color I put first Coloring1 on my graphic and then a Color Lookup Layer (Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Color Lookup) with the setting
Kodak 5218 Kodak 2395 (by Adobe) .cube
And vibrance layer (layer > New Adjustment Layer > Vibrance) with the setting
It is already finished. Who still likes Topaz or something, but it’s not a must have
with Topaz it looks like that
